Wonderful Sicilian brass playing 1920’s marches in a way that sounds like the soundtrack to a Fellini film. Expertly played with enthusiasm, joy, and a certain amount of sly darkness. Great stuff!

*1. Strong & lively w/a big, brassy sound.
*2. Lots of percussion & a decided oom-pah sound.
3. A big tarantella w/a carnival feeling.
4. Slow & mournful at first, gets big & bright. Then back.
*5. A catchy uptempo folk march.
6. Lyrical w/patches of drama & flourish. Like a national anthem.
7. A bright march w/an almost military feel.
8. Lots of brass & perc w/sections of quieter lyricism.
9. A sharp & joyful big parade march.
10. A summertime bandstand kind of song, nicely arranged.
*11. Fast perc/horns racing each other to the end.
*12. Triumphal horns & stately perc/brass.
