Fast & furious punk n’ roll but with a political consciousness (and some good personal/observational songs, too). These D.C. guys have apparently have been at it for awhile but they’re new to my ears. It’s a mix of: early Hüsker Dü, The Stooges, Fear on speed (Serge, the vocalist sounds a bit like Lee Ving but he’s a little harder to descipher), New Bomb Turks, and maybe Gluecifer.
(((1))) Fast-ass punk n’ roll somewhere around “Land Speed...” era Hüsker, Fear & Gluecifer
(((2))) Mid-tempo & rockin’. Something like Fear mixed with the MC5.
((((3)))) Driving, catchy & rip-roarin’ fast punk.
(((((4))))) Great & hella punk rifffing. Killer tune which actually has to with scene politicsrather than war. A great mix of 70’s punk & some kind of street punk/Oi! action in the chorus.
((((5)))) Fast hardcore style mixing some OTT thing like a intelligent version of “Blood, Guts & Pussy”-era Dwarves, Poison Idea and DKs.
(((6))) Weirdly enough sounds like Fear & early Pere Ubu (in the vocals) mix with mid-tempo 70’s punk.
(((7))) Fast & in your face punk. DKs crossed with Fear?
((((8))))) Super rockin’ mixing the best of 70’s punk & heavy rock. Pretty crazy vocal phrashing & killer Ron Asheton-like guitar break.
(((((9)))) Fast & rippin’ punk n’ rock(er) with a well-written slash against the warmongers. Rocks L.A.M.F. (Like A Motherfucker) AND it has killer lyrics & ya’ can’t beat that combo!
((((10)))) Mid-tempo, simple, kick-ass & catchy as hell.
((((11)))) Awesome guitars, a total headslammer! FCCs: “Fuck” at LEAST 9 times
(((12))) Fast & to the point. Amazing riffing. Tho’ his vocals are so weird he’s singing “I feel it/I feel it” and I’m hearing it as “wifebeater/wifebeater”. Serge is the Tom G. Warrior of the punk scene.
((((13))) It’s topical as hell & rocks like there’s now tomorrow! Great title to boot!
(((14))) Starts like the first track but has this awesome wailing guitar section. I dunno if it’s too “FCC friendly” with the “jerk off down your throat” chorus which is actually metaphorically not literal so maybe it’s OK for those jerkoffs regulators.
15))))) Fuckin’ A! It’s these lyrics are sooo true! Walk around Palo Alto or just watch TV & see for yourself. Oh yeah this is fast as fuck & just totally punishes!!
