Great chaotic hardcore leaning emo. There aren’t any metal influences, which is refreshing. Great screamed female vocals but you can’t really tell it’s a woman singing. This falls someplace between Born Against and Funeral Diner. From Baltimore. Produced by Adam Cooke (Lungfish). **1. West coast sounding emo chaos. The drums get really fast in the middle of the song and she never lets up with the screams. Does have quiet feedback parts in the middle. Ends slow and pained. 2. Not as heavy but just as chaotic. Shorter and more feedback. 3. Odd sounding guitar runs…..really short. 4. More ominous and darker sounding. **5. Start fast then lurches along. Short burst of speed at the end. **6. Ah…great fast melodic guitar to being then into a slow lurching sound like the last track. Has melodic guitar part in the middle of the song. Great stuff! -mph |
