Album Review
Craig Matsumoto
Reviewed 2004-05-29
A mix of Carl Craig and avant-jazzer Tim Berne, both of whom Taborn has worked with. The music is led by a forest of keyboards and tweaky electronic sounds, with sax and viola to add legit jazz lines where appropriate. A really interesting sound, like a darker, disturbing Jaga Jazzist.

1- Drifty slow, breaks into crispy techno sci-fi
*2- Midtempo. Jagged, with a cooly detatched feel
3- Sad, slow collage
*4- Stumbling jazz, shades of midtempo Steve Coleman
*5- Hyperactive crackly electronics and piano (midtempo feel).
Slowly jazzy intro.
6- Crunchy '80s synth+drum machine
7- Slow, pastoral, with growing electronic menace in the foreground
