(Pronounced keem-bhom-bo.) Cuban son music from this New York-based band. It’s good stuff, folks. Great vocals, clear, sharp horns, sexy percussion, everything this music should be. It’s dance music made for sultry nights, and you can’t go wrong with any track. Quimbombo, by the way, means “okra” in Spanish.
