Robert Rich: Open Window

I had the fortune of meeting local composer Robert Rich who was a guest on David Bug's radio show. David counts Robert as one of his artistic inspirations - and it's easy to see why. Robert's CD contains all solo piano compositions - they are all melodic, reflective, and very beautiful and highly listenable. I liked this entire CD, especially pieces 2,3,6,7,8.
1. meanders slowly in the beginning, dramatic flow in the end
2. a pleasantly melodic piece
3. long piece; slow & beautiful & reflective
4. relatively gentle, slow & sparse - a bit like #3
5. soft & very gentle
6. dramatic & flowing melodic interplace
7. wonderful - long & expansive piece begins slowly then builds
8. gentle sparse notes
