Putumayo Kids are so lucky! I wish this kind of music had been around when I was a child. Fun, fresh, wiggly music filled with joy. It’s upbeat, dancey and all well performed. It’ll make you act like a kid. Grab an ice cream cone and dance, my children.
1. Taj Mahal invites us on his boat in this reggae-esque track.
2. A classic song with a bouncy, ska flair.
*3. Fun African-based percussion/vocal dance. Happy, happy.
*4. Great zydeco/reggae romp.
*5. Karl Zero & the Wailers team for this Calypso fun.
6. Sweet & relaxed Haitian folk tune w/French vocals. Nice!
7. Lively energy in a contemporary Calypso dance.
*8. Great vocal harmonies in a warm, Latin sway.
*9. Warm, joyful, midtempo w/a Cuban influence. Good vocals.
