Pleasant thoughtful rock from ex-Gaster del Sol/Squirrelbait guitarist (this is his 4th solo release so perhaps it’s time to stop referencing his past) Hannah Marcus contributes some vocals. Matmos does some electronics but not much.

1,2.Minor key mid-tempo. Fem backing vocals. Nice drum sound.
3.slower, no drums
4.Add cello- guitar/drums still take lead. Very nice.
+5.instr, mid-tempo, great playing, unpretentious
6.short. high pitched drone
7.can hear some of Matmos’s noises here, dissonant piano track
8.more successful/cohesive piano track but drigeful. abstract percussion
+9.calexicoish drums/guit- mid/slow, jaded voice
10.faster, doesn’t really work
+11.Epic track, everyone contributes, long build, piano bridge to electronic noise. No vocals after T-4:30, if you feel like a voiceover.
12. quiet, ambient non-track of static and low tones.
