Chill mopey low-fi local indie pop songsters. I hate to malign Kozelek/Red House Painters, Pavement or the Beatles but there are moments that this smacks thereof. Mostly brushed drums, sparse guitar, noise, fuzz, and understated self-conscious vocals and lyrics, this is so Mission Hipster I can taste the tequila aftertaste of a monster Marg mixed by Liz at Doc’s. Yawn.
