If I could sing like any of the women on this collection, I’d be so happy I’d pee. Gorgeous voices abound from both established stars (Toto La Momposina) and lesser-known artists (Marta Gomez). Wonderful music, one star for every track so you can’t go wrong. Read the notes, & play it all. It’s ice cream delicious.

1. A light, swaying and lazy song w/crystal-clear vocals.
2. Warm & fluid down/midtempo w/lush strings.
3. Relaxed jazz-infused. Nice touches from cello & perc.
4. Honey-rich vocals in a relaxed, lyrical little tune. Yum.
5. Slow and deep w/gentle blend of flute, guitar, vocals.
6. A happy & bright Afro-Peruvian song w/warm vocal harmony.
7. Delicious & sophisticated w/a relaxed Afro-Latin sway.
8. Dark percussion and fragile vocals in a gentle ballad.
9. Sexy, swaying bossa love song to Bahia. Yum!
10. Husky vocals in a downtempo ranchera w/horns & strings.
11. Light & bouncy cumbia w/a sophisticated arrangement.
