Brassy band led by trumpeter Ara Anderson (Iron & the Albatross). The music is a good time, with slowish stomping beats and jovial solos with a sense of humor. Light shades of the 1940s and film noir. Hip stuff that even non-jazz fans should enjoy.
- Mid/slow jolly stomp. Somewhere between crime/noir and cartoons.
- Midtempo swing, a bit exotic
- "Superman" slice, with the band playing background
- Slow cool slide, jazz noir. Takes a while to get going.
- Soaring ballroom jazz. Bright and fairly fast.
- Jaunty fun. Lots of phases including a quiet avant-garde breakdowns.
