Album Review
Jon Barnes
Reviewed 2005-01-09
A masterpiece, start to finish. So good it’s absurd. Play every single song on this album. You only need to listen once. Electronic beauties complete with hooks and perfect chord progressions that will fit into any show this side of punk rock. The soundtrack for the last scene in your video biography, when it goes into slow-motion flashback to the good ole days with [insert best friend / girlfriend / favorite moment here] and the credits roll. For some reason this album reminds me of U2 gone ambient (IMO this is way better than U2). Or a 21st-century version of Vangelis. OK, now go PLAY.
Best tracks: EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Track 1: Absolutely gorgeous piece with Fender Rhodes, lush atmosphere and tasty harmonic progression.
Track 2: Made famous by Sasha’s remix. Original is equally stunning. Uplifting.
Track 3: I’m running out of superlatives and it’s only track 3. Mellow rock beat programmed over sweeping chords.
Track 4: A little more tension in this one; nice drums. Pure listening pleasure.
Track 5: He shoots, he scores again. You’ll like it so just listen.
Track 6: Coming to a peaceful body of water or new age spa near you.
Track 7: Blissful percussion and some ringing xylophone-esque sounds.
Track 8: For God’s sake, they’re all good, OK? Hidden track on this one.
