Sometimes trippy heaviness not purely metal or hardcore. Lots of strummy,, introspective breakdowns. Really nice guitar tones. Somewhere around Old Man Gloom, Mare, and even Slint but often confused.
((((1)))) Moody strumming & solid riffing, bombastic loudness & intense vocals.
((2)) Straight-forward distorted vocal indie moves mixed with loud & heavy. Only the latter part works.
(((3))) Basic, modern hardcore sound with a Neurosis-ish breakdown.
(((4))) Weird, spacey dub beat instrumental
((5)) Very metal hammer-on/pull-off anchored by slow beat & fey, indie rock vocals. Huh?
((((6)))) Thudding, battering sound almost straying into Godflesh/Killing Joke territory.
(((7))) Minimal strumming vs. loud heaviness, mellow vs. intense vox.
(((8))) Early 4AD meets Hydra Head? Shimmering tones.
(((9)))) More introspective minimal strumming, lots of flowing drum beats
