Beautiful drone of warm sustained distorted guitars. Closest thing to taking methadone or Demerol in a floatation tank that you’ll ever come to (unless youre Courtney Love and you can do that sort of thing). Melvins associated people, Joe Preston, Dylan Carlson types, Aberdeen/NW weirdos doing an “Earth Tribute Band”. In fact this stuff sounds more like Earth than Earth does these days. Just lovely lovely loud feedback, hypnotic and mesmerizing, and deafening when experienced live. Best part is these guys don’t take themselves too seriously despite the imagery: when I saw them at the Curve Bar they came out dressed like Druids. Just when you thought they were going to take the heavy goth schtick to the limit they presented the audience with an offering: delivered pizza slices, in open boxes. Now that’s my kind of chuch.

1) beautiful low drone, 19:00
2) similar to previous, lush epic analog synth included, watch quiet ending w/ ~20 seconds dead air at very end, 15:00
3) beautiful drone, just a georgeous symphony of overdriven sustain, named after Dylan Carlson, strange cymbal ending and 10 secs dead air
4) more of a 1K midrange distortion, higher freq drone, sustain
