A FREE downloadable fan remix album of the Chemical Brothers album “Push the Button”.
Some tracks do not use the original themes but take out elements to create something new, yet monotonous. Some do. The latter are usually better. Most tracks are good (and less clubby), but everything is solid stuff for Dance lovers.
1) Monotonous stuff. Chirps and fragmented hip-hop leftovers.
2) Slow, spacey, monotonous
*3) A strong mood modulator.
*4) Spacey electronica. Opens with a very earthy meditative slow percussion (only a short bit).
*5) A psychedelic electro-funk dub piece.
*6) Jaws-style opening to the original track.
7) A less-flowing version of the original military-style hip-hop track.
8) A gradually intensifying electro-romatinc piece. Ends with an acoustic guitar.
*9) Robotic opening. A touch of New Wave a la Depeche mode.
*10) Slide guitar sampling. A rich repetitive composition. (There is a nice phase shift in the sampled line compared to the original).
11) Bosa Novi, boy choir, Beatles remix (nothing’s gonna change my world).
