Plymouth Rock Best of Satan's

Retro surf/garage instrumental rock re-release of this defunct Portland band's material 1994-98 plus some rarities and unreleased re-worked material. Channeling the Ventures, these guys were stalwarts on the gear-head retro scene of the early-mid 90's along with other Estrus Records greats (Mono Men, Nomads, Makers, etc) that for better or worse accidently gave birth to "new garage" (as pitiful as that might sound). The bottom line is that this is very capable, great surf-garage rock, top of the heap worthy of Dionysus Records worship. But that said, every song fits the old surf recipe. So a track by track below is limited to what I felt were the highlights. Otherwise, close your eyes and pick any, either that or cue up the first 10-20 seconds cuz that gives you a great feel for the rest.
