Black Metal in vein of Darkthrone (but not as wonderfully fucked up) and old Satyricon. Unfortunately the album often gets tediious but there’s some good stuff here & there. These nogoodniks are named Slut, Armageddon and Fascist not to mention their lyrics. “Black metal junk food” is what you can expect.
((((1)))) Impressive mix of black metal and a nice traditional metal breakdown. Excelent vocals, too.
(((2))) Bombastic with mid-tempo breakdowns somewhere around old Satyricon and Weakling but not as compelling.
((3)) Driving yet repetitive to the point of annoyance. (FCCs “Fucking” sung twice)
(((4))) Slow, winding like Leviathan (but not as damaged) then into mid-paced thudding.
(((5))) More bombastic but kinda boring BM
(((6))) Mid-paced & torturous sounding ‘ala “Filosofem”-era Burzum crossed with Weakling. Loses points for getting fast in the end.
((((7)))) Thuddin’, rockin’ blackened metal with a bit of Possessed & Hellhammer infliuence. Fuck-why not do a whole album like this?!?
