Rouge Ciel – Veuillez Procéder

Proggy chamber music from Quebec, something in a similar vein to Univers Zero or Euro-jazz a la Lucien Dubuis. Despite the pretenses this never gets too serious (prog mixed with scratching??). Good stuff.

*1. Heavy, plodding
*2. Funky groove builds to driving prog
3. Abstract echoey scraping
4. Straight modern chamber music
*5. Builds to stately prog jam
6. Slow and abstract
**7. Fast and loud, could be a nintendo soundtrack
8. Pretty acoustic ballad turns into a samba?
9. Slow and abstract (cont’d)
*10. Med tempo “epic”
11. Tender ballad
12. Abstract taps and scratches
