Really good twee from Seattle. Tullycraft excels at sugary sweet indie-pop. Hooky, catchy, bouncey, and bright, Tullycraft feature the nasal talky vocals of Sean Tollefson backed by the woh-ohs of Jenny Mears. The songcraft is perfect. The songs are compact and the lyrics are very clever and sweet. Random sample: "There was that night on the phone when you said let's kill the mod revival to some applause. Then you paused as if to say I love you." The songs are full of adolescent obsessions: high school, records, bands, girlfriends, etc. Not art by a long shot, but a wonderful wonderful record. FCC Clean. Stand-out tracks: 1, 5, 8, 10.

==> 1. upbeat, cute song about buying the perfect record
2. starts slow, becomes more upbeat
3. synthey, martial beat, terminally cute
4. sweet high school reminiscing
==> 5. short and bouncey
6. way saccharine, ridiculously twee, "Molly's Got a Crush on Us"
7. muscular, palm-muted guitar, cute song to an ex
==> 8. '50's feel, bomp-bomp intro, nimble, battle of debutantes
9. sweet duet, bright bouncey
==> 10. raucous, power-pop about a washed-up rock star
11. short, busy, punky energy, this album compressed to a single song
12. longer, reggae feel, great chorus
