COLL: Mister Comp 3 (Mister) Mix of indie rock, hip-hop, power pop, hard rock, jazz fusion & more
(((1))) BIG BEAR- Pretty cool, fast metalish screamo. Is this a girl or guy on vox?
(((2)) BIG DIGITS - Noisy, distorted beats with Wolfman Jack samples. The rhyming is pretty wack, tho’.
(((((3)))) THE COMMON COLD - Awesome, stark early 90’s instrumental ‘ala Slint, Rodan, et. al.
(((4))) COUNT ME OUTS – Feedbackish, power pop/indie rock
((5)) DEVIL INSIDE – Experimental guitar noodlings kinda proggy but with evil (not metal ‘evil’) vocals.
(((((6))))) HO-AG - Big riffs, off-kilter post-punk ‘ala Chemicals Made From Dirt, Nervous Gender.
((7)) KARLSRUHE – Kinda dull, slow, washing machine noise.
(((8))) LAUGHINGLIGHT – Swingy, jazzy twangy, spastic punkish/hardcore for weirdos ‘ala Melt Banana, Victims’s Family, etc.
(9) LIFE PARTNERS - Fuckin’ pointless Journey cover song. Why?
(((((10))))) MAX LORD – Nice 70’s sci-fi jazzy fusion/improv Squelching noise, jazzy cymbals. The ’00 version of “Bitches Brew”?
(((11))) – THE NAPKINS - Nice strummy indie pop with good vocals & catchy verses/choruses
(((12))) NEPTUNE – Wild, weird percussive
no-wave-ish bombast meets Beefheart or Firewater.
(13) PLUNGE INTO DEATH – Slow, twangy & bland take on the Beat Happening style.
((((14)))) U.V. PROTECTION – Fun & captivating lo-fi 80’s synth pop.
((((15)))) YOUNG SEXY ASSASSINS – Loud, punk/post-punk like Really Red, The Screamers.
