The late, great mambo king is lovingly celebrated with this high-energy collection of salsa, mambo, jazz, and other goodly examples of why he was so revered. While he wails wild on vibes and timbales, he is joined by Celia Cruz & others on vocals. You could close your eyes and pick a track and random and not be disappointed, but I especially recommend these:

2. Dishy instrumental mambo w/horns & lots of style & class.
3. Brash, brassy, midtempo w/silky male vox. Smooooth…
4. Fast, fast w/strings/brass/perc/vocals.
6. Celia Cruz in a fast & sophisticated little dance.
7. Great percussion. Upbeat blend of voices/brass/perc.
8. Vibes-driven jazz w/a playful, midtempo big band sound. Yum!
11. Like a 70’s movie theme song. Funky, brassy, oh, so cool.
12. Delicious vibes in a mambo/salsa combo.
14. Lazy, midtempo and catchy. Vox/perc/horns.
16. Fun little midtempo groove.
18. A classic! Sophisticated, catchy, jazzy. Damn!
20. Uptempo jam for horns/perc. Great vibes.
