Tribal Bahia

Timbalada (chim ba lada ) is a group from Salvador da Bahia in the Northeast of Brazil and it is a fantastic style of music. The percussion is mainly 'timbau' (chim bal) a tall thin drum and repinique ( heb e nique) (~snare) and surdo ( big bass drum)vocals mostly by Carlinhos Brown ( the founder) and some brass. The percussion is No.1 on all tracks. Vocals and other instruments vary on all tracks.
The music is like a tripleshot of espresso in a café mocha
The percussion is like an earthquake coming through the speakers. You will be up and moving. ALL tracks are GREAT.
