Elegant chamber jazz, a very classical-music feel. Trio of sax/clarinet, piano, and cello, the latter two in academic conservatory mode. But this still swings. There's an element of beat, swing, and even fun to modern chamber music; they capture that element and blend it with jazz standards and ideas. Folks looking for Latin jazz among the Spanish titles might be disappointed -- no percussion-heavy party music here -- but give it a try. There's a charming retro-'50s feel to the session. Picture it as soundtrack to an old Hollywood movie.

- Bright and bouncy
- Smoothly mid/slow waltz. Wistful, delicate.
- Perky mid/fast
- Fast steeplechase version of "Tunisia." A highlight.
- Graceful. Slow at first, picks up later.
- Cello solo! Fast and percussive, a bit folky
- Sneaky fast patter,
- Fast, minor key, some nice sax soloing
- Solo sax. Bluesy, free, fairly fast
- Upbeat and not that slow
- Charming small piece, nostalgic New Orleans feel
- Playful and bright, with fairly fast pecking. Slow middle.
