Kalaparush McIntyre's trio of sax, drums, and tuba, adding former local cat Adam Lane on bass for even more low end. Lane's fast, fluid, pinpoint-accurate playing is always a treat -- check him out on 3 and 6.

Upbeat and not too abstract. Tracks feature compositions that often sound jaunty, due to the tuba, and launch into some nicely creative solos. Light and casual feeling throughout. Tuba solos on 3,6,7. Busy drumming from Ravish Momin on 3,6,7, too.

- Sax/bass duet, slow and careful, often quiet.
- Cool-tempo groove, mid/slow. Solo bass intro.
- Mid/fast, jumbly
- Long track in several phases. First half is mostly mid/fast. A short slow break at -9:30 lasts a couple minutes, then gets back into faster stuff with good doses of Lane's bass.
- Mid/slow. Exploratory.
- Bouncy, catchy, fairly fast.
- Mid/fast and busy
- Duet of mid/fast, jumping bop
