Carroll is a world-class Celtic fiddler/composer. Doyle a great Celtic guitarist. Although both have played with groups (she with Trian, he with Solas), they’ve mostly been solo for the past few years. Here they join forces for their first duet CD, a fun and lively collection of largely original songs, all played with spirit and skill. Whether it’s a playful reel with a touch of bluegrass or a heartfelt air that’s pure Irish mist, they do it all with style.
