Straight forward hardcore with emo/screamo leanings. Melodic guitars and pained, screamed vocals that you can mostly understand. Modern melodic hardcore. No metal influences, no real 80s hardcore influences, never fast, not many breakdowns, just straightforward hardcore. From Iowa of all places.
**1. FCC. Slow and big sounding.
**2. A bit faster, some feedback, and a few catchy (almost poppy) guitar hooks thrown in.
3. Nice pummeling to being the track into some sort of groove.
4. More feedback mixed with emo guitar sounds. Slow and melodramatic with lots of melodic music and screaming.
**5. Punk leanings and catchy.
6. Sounds live. Sounds like an intro that never turns into a song.
7. A bit heavier but with an indie rock sort of guitar sound at the beginning. Slow and catchy.
**8. An interesting mix of straight rock sounds, hardcore and emo. Speeds up a little with sort of a breakdown.
9. Longer, more discordant.
OK Stuff. -mph
