Piano/sax duets, abstract improvised stuff with jazz roots and, from Gustafsson on sax, some acrid punk energy. On the louder tracks, Fernandez counters by hammering on the piano's low notes for a grumbly, burly sound. Other tracks go for an artsy quietness. 1- Fast soft patter. Dark and increasingly rumbly/aggressive. 2- Fast plinking, a rapid flow 3- Tumbling and fierce, goes to 11 for a brief point 4- Near-silent. 5- Slow, quavering tones. Some blank patches. 6- Scraping the piano strings, then some bursts of activity 7- Scattery, fast 8- Soft popping sounds, fast and quiet 9- Rumbling quietly, into crashing piano 10- Dire and fast | ||
