15 tracks of industrial-strength heaviness! This is a collection of re-mixes& live versions of some of their “hits” from 1989-2002 These aren’t hits in the mass sense but hits in that they sound fucking big, loud & beautiful in the clubs. Ministry is just as innovative & intense as any classic metal band in their prime (see early Metallica, Slayer or Megadeth) and this proves it.
(((((1))))) Epic sounding re-working for the G.W. Bush era/error. Pounding & thrashin’ and a killer solo. (FCC “fucking”
((((((2)))))) Great Condi Rice sample then full on
charging speed metal with industrial pummel.
(FCC “We don’t need you fuckin’ war!” sung three times in chorus)
((((3)))) Intense, varied tempos & repetitive but catchy all hell chorus.
((((4)))) Another version of “N.W.O.” with a slightly different tone/production. Mixes Daddy Bush & Baby Bush samples.
(((((((5)))))) Thee Industrial rivethead classic. Giant, simple, bass that kicks your ass on the dancefloor & unforgettable riff & lyrics. To think this used to be on Live 105?!?
((((6)))) Slayer/Megadeth guitars mixed with simple beats & excellent breakdowns.
(((((7))))) Strange “Rawhide” beat mixed with a metallic/punk vibe. Nice.
((((((8))))) Another classic. All revved up nitro burnin’ heavy rock action! If this doesn’t move you – you might as well be dead! (FCC in sample 4:26 “Let’s hit the fuckin’ road!”)
(((9))) More electro-industrial meets metal. Focused most on the beat & the riff. Sorta weak but still not that bad.
(((((10)))) Thrashy battering, with a single-minded beat. Confrontational as hell vocals. Chorus will dig into your ears if you’re not careful.
(((((11))))) Bagpipes (!?!), off-kilter beat, huge sound. Melodic verse and aggressive chorus.
(((((12)))) Same beat as “Bela Lugosi’s Dead”, but disjointed sometimes loud rock but fixated mostly on the beat.
(((((13)))) Monumentally heavy riff with looped samples of religious nuts. Totally headbangin’ Valhalla!
((((((((((16)))))))) A thrashster-piece! Need I say more?!?! Kick ass eternally – GET UP!
(FCC “motherfucker” 2x in 2nd sample “fuckface” in 3:18-3:20)
(((((15)))) Slow, stunning repetitive & pretty. Should be in a movie.
