Drill-n-Bass/Breakcore meets Neo-classical. This album has a total split personality -- some tracks are pure somber piano, others are hard Warp/AFX/Squarepusher style drill-n-bass, others mix the two, and still others are completely random. Most of these tracks are surprisingly melodic. A lot of the tracks are mournful and beach-y (not just because of all the ambient shore noises), like someone going to a secluded beach house to figure stuff out. The album is mixed so that it could be played in chunks or as standalone tracks.

DnB Picks: 4, 16, 23. Piano/Other Picks: 10, 14, 19. FCC Clean.

1) Subdued ambient meets IDM. Ending seems like it's going to go somewhere, but doesn't. (1:15)
2) Very very Squarepusher-y. Hard, driving DnB, varies its tempo a lot. (3:42)
3) Neo-classical piano meets Aphex-Twin drum loop. (2:00)
**4) Another Squarepusher-y track, but with a soaring guitar power-solo that wants to break out. (2:35)
5) (2:12)
6) Cinematic, weary violin, with ambiance to add weight. (1:37)
7) Surprisingly restrained. Glitch melody over piano. Approaching beautiful then fades out at 2:58 to wave noises, comes back *crazy* at 3:17 with screaming distorted vocal. (3:35)
8) First minute belongs on the Matrix soundtrack, then standard Warp. Dies at 2:08 to bells to fade into the next track. (2:26)
9) Wants to be the intro to Trans-Siberian Orchestra piece. Somber, no beats, xylophone? (2:09)
**10) Soaring ambient melody melded with occasional AFX-style drum loops. (3:19)
11) Twangy guitar note moving up and down moving into very high piano riff. (1:19)
12) Just a neo-classical piano. Very Pretty. (1:25)
13) Looped piano with electro beat, building into AFX. "Swirling." (3:05)
**14) Post-rock sound -- drums, piano, guitar. Lots of drum solos. (3:25)
15) Neo-classical piano, gets very fast. Last 40s is ambient noise. (2:51)
**16) 50-50 mix of restrained piano and crazy drill-and-bass. Nearly unlistenable drilling 3:40-3:50, comes back sedated. (5:03)
17) Indian feel, sunrise. Quizzical/curious piano sound. (1:52)
18) Could be the backing track to very chill hip-hop. Repeated piano scale. (3:19)
**19) Hopeful synth, heavy bass, picked guitar (1:53)
20) Great melding of piano and drum-n-bass beats. (2:48)
21) Piano! Slow. Has a finality to it. Sad. Fades into next track. (1:43)
22) Bassy computerized voice, synth line, clapping drums. (3:03)
**23) Restrained drill-n-bass. Music for a struggling robot film noir detective. (2:32)
24) Yes, a cover of the Mamas and the Papas. Very subdued vocals, loud piano, scratch beat. Fades to nothing at 1:50, Takes 40s of near-silence to build itself up to a beautiful piano track with ambient beach noises. (3:43)
25) Cinematic strings. (1:46)
26) Strings again, with finger picked guitar. Last 13s are near-silence. (2:13)
27) Piano + guitar intro. Upbeat. Sitar enters at 1min. At 1:30 guitar with time-of-your-life strings and singer-songwriter vocals. Unexpected. (3:03)
28) Somber jazz. Rainy feel. White noise 1:30-1:45. (1:45)
