The Bawd Of Euphony
Reviewed 2006-02-28
Feller Quentin, Madman? Genius? Recluse? Serial Killer? Who knows? What he is for shit sure is a prolific motherfucker, churning out incredibly inventive and twisted folk/blues/psyche/hip-hop music like its nothing. He has released music under many guises such as prog-folksters Hattattak, hip-hopers the Forest Fire Collective and currently leads the local buzz band Black Fiction. This his second CD under the Feller Quentin guise is a brilliant collection of dark, sordid tales lead by his John Fahey styled acoustic guitar playing. His songs always seem to play out like some sort of Black comedy (Black Fiction?). Inventive beats and sounds mixed with moody guitar makes for a perfect listen. Play the poop out of this if you know what’s good for you. -tHE bAWD oF euphony
