One (Hellbound)

Impressive, rigorous death/thrash metal that doesn’t reply on clichés or brutality for the sake of brutality. Their reliance on the ‘E-chug’ often doesn’t stray far from the mediocre labelmates but luckily it’s for minimal effect. A moderm metal album in the spirit of Sodom, Kreator, Carcass, old Slayer & bits of Exodus and even crust core. Nothing unbelieveably original but a lot of ripping headbangin’ fun.
(((((1))))) Wicked, gnarly, intense thrash with more than a handful “Reign In Blood” isms.
((((2)))) Lots of double bass drummning and some fast sung vocal lines.
(((((3))))) Monsterous overkill gallop riffs & classic thrash/death tones.
(((4))) “Black…black magic night” Oops-wrong band. Fusing Carcass, Slayer and even Lamb of God in way that’s’ catchy but not quite enough to stay interesting.
(((5))) Carcass & The Haunted OD’ing on e-chugs.
(((((6))))) (FCC “fucker” in the first 5 seconds) Severely rockin’ deathrash. Almost as thick & riffy as “Hell Awaits’.
(((7))) Batshit crazy & fast OTT death//ultra-speed. But not too different than previous songs (FCC “Fuck” “fucking”)
((((8)))) Starting where they left off – more hyper-fast riffage & Carcass-ian slash n’ stab vocals. Weird gang chorus but fuck that’s sooo 80s!
(((9))) Tons of varation, classic metal with more e-chuggin’ & more “Corporal Jigsore” vocal quandaries.
(((((10))))) Unrelenting, A winning combo early 90’s death & late 80’s ultra-velocity, rad gang vocals, enough dive bombers to make Hanneman & King jealous. (FCC “motherfucking’)
