Dense, heavy, & primal hardcore/crust from Oakland. Features members from BORN/DEAD, STRUNG UP and SCURVY DOGS. Some metallic influences but mostly in the vein in the heavy-as-fuck hardcore like Skitsystem, Wolfbrigade, Nausea, Amebix, Aus-Rotten, etc. Worship-worthy riffs & breakdowns all over the place.
((((1)))) Wailing, rock n’ roll guitars, guttural vocals. D-beats galore.
(((((2))))) Slow intro, blasts off into a snarling, ultra-crust, hella fast number. Fuck yeah!
(((((3))))) Hammer on/pulls offs on a hardcore album? Whoa! Metalized h.c. with a black metal scale & some other rad effects. Battering!
((((4)))) Classic heavy riff, pick slides, torrent of beats (not blasts just fast beats), Wolfbrigade would be proud!
((((((5)))))) 100% Fast-as-ass, crust fuckin’ core!
((((6)))) Winding intro, wailing guitars, simple attack, lyrics deal with the “United Survilenaces of America”
((((((7)))))) Go for the throat approach, ugly, rippin’, great drumming & awesome varations.
(((((8))))) Incredible metal-hardcore mix (NOT metalcore, mind you), charging & making the maximum out of the minimum (FCC “fuck” sung twice)
((((9)))) Kinda standard approach but damn what a standard it is – more wailing guitars, dual vocals all seriously intense.
((((10))) Slowish to raging ‘ala Skitsystem with some nice death metal grunting, great bass/guitar interplay 2:01-2:27.
(((((11))))) Doomy then again fast & scathing. Very excellent bass/guitar playing again. (FCC “fucking” sung once)
(((((12))))) Nausea cover – done about twice as heavy & twice as fast (FCC “fucking’ sung three times), As if Possesssed took to Poison Idea instead of Slayer. KILLER!
