A Malian keyboardist/composer/singer/guitarist who has performed with Salif Keita, Fela Kuti, & Youssou N’Dour. He started with the Super Rail Band. He rocks! It’s AfroFunkSoulRock with great vocals, wonderful guitar, kora, percussion, keyboards, etc. It’s not at all subtle, but it sure is fun. Check out these especially:

2. Cool organ, hip-hop vocals, midtempo funk.
3. Bright & swaying jazz/funk jam w/vocal duet & cool breaks.
5. Uptempo funk w/hip-hop vocals & lots of keyboards/perc/horns.
7. Horns for days, chorus, mostly mid w/lots of cool perc. Yow!
10. More brass, funky. Starts big, slows down, a funk/soul groove.
12. Reggae beats, soaring vox, flute, tabla. Cool.
13. Fun vocal nonsense into uptempo jam w/electronica touches.
17. Solo piano for 20 seconds…then silence until 2:22
HIDDEN TRACK at 2:22. Piano solo, light per, midtempo, improv sound. Kora takes over, tapping feet, piano, vox. Ends at 7:38.
