Heavy, often thrashing death metal with a good balance between melodic and brutal. Neither element is overbearing or often blatantly derivative. Enough variety, heavy riffs and innovation to keep it interesting. ((((1))))) Sharp burst of thrashin’ death metal with some interesting breakdown & solos. (((2))) Fast & charging but with a pretty mediocre chorus. ((((3)))) Great, thick riffs, kinda like Carcass circa: “Heartwork” (((4))) Excellent death-thrash riff, breakdown & chorus are just kinda there, though. ((5)) Cheesy & contrived in the chorus & so-so riff. (((6))) Fast & thunderous parts to winding melodic doomy bits. The latter strattles the line between passable to corny. (((7))) Morbid Angel-like dense DM but thrown off course by the “typical melo-death” chorus. ((8)) Skitosphrenic mix of the heavy & the melodic. | ||
