Wonderful folk music from Quebec. Vocals in French, some instrumentals - all marked by wonderful playing. Great strings, perc, vocals. Excellent French Canadian music, which incorporates elements of Celtic and Cajun music. All played with joy, style, and flair. I loved it – my only complaint is they’re all too short! I want more! You can play any track & be happy, but I loved these: 1. Relaxed midtempo w/a catchy melody & nice use of strings. 2. Nicely toe-tapping dance w/an Irish flair. Instrumental. 3. Uptempo & gypsy jazz-ish with a fun, happy sound. 4. Mid/uptempo w/nice use of tabla & cool vocals. Yum. 7. Mid/uptempo nice blend of vox/chorus. Slightly bouncy. 9. Claps, a capella call/response, dancing. Warm, lively, bright. 10. Instrumental, elec bass, tabla, a bit of Africa, a bit of Cape Breton. 11. Happy midtempo instrumental. Cool accordion. 13. Bright & happy (#12 can lead in). Midtempo & folksy. 16. Upbeat instrumental showcase for strings/perc/step dancing. 19. Charming upbeat sing-along sound. So fun. WAY too short! 21. Like chamber music. Beautiful, lyrical, elegant. | ||
