GORILLA ANGREB – Gorilla Angreb (Kick n’ Punch Records) 2003
(Female Fronted Punk Rock) 33 rpm
German band with a very old school sound. The vocalist’s style reminds me of Lydia Lunch and this definitely has me thinking of X. Great recording and a great band!

Starts off slow then leads into some good ol’ downstroke punk rock. Female fronted vocals with male backups. Stutters to an end kinda like some old Sonic Youth songs.
((((( Der Skal Drikkes Mere End For )))))
Vocals in german. Slower than the first song. Almost has an early 80’s new wave sound. The main guitar hook sounds a lot like early Cure. Ends with breakdown leading into a heavy outro with screaming female vocals and fast pounding downstrokes.

((((( Mit Lille Sorte Ag )))))
Vocals in german. Starts off with just guitar, then accompanied by some bass and a ride symbol only to lead to fast downstrokes. Female and Male vocals. Straight forward and fast. Ends with slamin’ guitar strummin and loud vocals.
((((( De Kommer Ud Om Natten )))))
Vocals in german. Starts off with fast downstrokin’ guitar. Female vocals accompanied with Male vocal (Ooo’s and Harmonies). Straight forward punk and ends with the guitar just how the song started. Girl screams at the very end of Side B.
