Experimental, psych/neo-folk with some traditional leanings. Features Steve Von Till of Neurosis. Somewhat similar to Popol Vuh or some of Roy Montgomery’s work.
((((1))))) Gorgeous psych-folk guitar strums. Achives maximial effect with minimum of notes.
((((2)))) Droney ambience with layered guitar effects.
((((3)))) Traditional bagpipe piece filtered through some modern drone elements.
((((4)))) Folk standard moved forward with wah pedals, delay and other trippy sounds.
(((((5))))) Beautiful acoustic guitar sound, sparely picked notes builiding into something bigger & complex.
(((6))) Minimal drone, overlapping waves of light distortion.
((((7)))) Icy, cold, ethereal, mutli-tracked guitars & voice loops that come & go.
((((8)))) Trad. folk reconfigured as mass ambient/choral sound waves. Nice.
((((9)))) Noodly, spindly, random, odd & noisy in places.
(((10))) Dark ambient with tunnelling currents of windy fluctuations and windy randomness.
((((11)))) Sparse, dark folk with vocals that are remincent of Jarboe.
(((12))) More bagpipes, trad. Celtic sound with a bit of noise. Envisioning foggy, green hillsides o’ plenty.
