Throughly excellent, instrumental prog rock/space rock. Very much inspired by John Carpenter’s soundtracks (“Escape From New York”, et. al.), early Tangerine Dream, Rush and early ’70’s-era Pink Floyd. Great bass lines & synths through the entire album. (((((1))))) Huge synth & bass sounds, pretty straight ahead. (((((2))))) Circular patterns with a very isolated dark, sci-fi movie soundtrack vibe. ((((3))))) Early 80’s video game overlapping Rush outtakes? In the best way possible of course. (((((4))))) Dramatic, severely proggy with simplistic, catchy changes. (((((5))))) Epic split into three parts: dreamy ambient to “what’s down that creepy hallway” bits to vector-graphic arcade soundtracks. | ||
