Ambient, gentle industrial, found sounds, loops. Quiet and empty feeling for the most part. Analog strings et al. looped over long electronic tones
and looped crackles and textures of found sounds. 2,3,5,7,8,11,13. Emphasis on electronic sounds 1,6,12. Static and found sounds 4,5,9,10,12.
6 and 11 remind me of Paul Schutze. Try 1,3,13 for starters if you're normally not into this kind of stuff. FCC clean.
**1-(4:19) Radio Crackle, wind, something boiling. Backwards loop. Saragossa Manuscript sndtrk.
Dreamy towards end. Soft keyboard wash. Visiting family, prompted my brother Zac to say "What is this crackhead shit"...ah KZSU.
*2-(2:45) Skitterish electronic chirps. Empty piano loop. Abrupt change 1/2way. Looped harp? wind and squeaks.
**3-(4:05) Faint Latin-American radio song. Pleasant 2 arpeggiated harp chords looped. Sparse banjo(russian) melody.
-1:57 overlapped with intrusive warning loop.
4-(1:19) Very ambient incidental background noise. birds, waves, airport announcement.
5-(2:29) Dulcimer? loops and quiet static.
*6-(4:50) Quiet fuzz. Very sparse ringing tones. Lower, even quieter electronics wash in and out.
*7-(3:15) Plodding Chopped/looped koto? over bleeps. Distressing horns.
8-(2:40) Toy piano chopped/looped over nighttime insect noises. Finally hit-hats.
*9-(5:04) Electronic belltone. Faint industrial noises added. (almost a telephone, and a train). -2:25 enter chordal piano loop. Very very faint clarinet and bassoon. Industrial noises die out.
10-(1:25) Female singing and speaking vox. looped. incidental noise (birds, alarms, toy car) then a trumpet track.
*11-(6:25) Handheld recorder in the rain. New-agey electronic loop and drony string melody. - 4:25 strange vocal samples. Sad feeling.
*12-(5:06) VERY quiet beg. Stuff being pushed around a desk almost. -5:06 enter electronic chirps. -3:00 low watery tone. Builds a slight bit to end. Think Paul Schutze?
***13-(2:45) Single violin pizzicato, piano strings, and bell tone together with bass dr. and snare together coalesce into beat. Then we realize drum samples are recordings of fireworks. Crying string melody. Serene and sad. Ends with fireworks finale.
