Comprised of 6 Wodaabe and 4 Tuareg musicians (both nomadic peoples of Niger). Traditional instruments and electric guitars – nomadic folk music w/a modern sound. Like Malian blues w/hints of of the Middle East.Twangy guitars, trad perc, vocals. One star, each track… seriously great stuff, folks, play it all!!

1. Midtempo, a great intro too their sound. Rhythmic & kinda funky.
2. Uptempo bounce w/great twangy guitar groove & chorus. Yow!
3. Funky guitar, heavy midtempo beat. Cool vocals…great sound.
4. Upbeat guitar/drum/vox blend. Read the lyrics on this one…
5. Trad healing song. Nasally call/response, perc, claps, flute. Mid.
6. Uptempo w/soaring vox, funky guitar, drums/cymbals.
7. Upbeat song comparing his woman’s beauty to that of a cow…
8. Guitars/perc/call-response. Upbeat w/cool layers of perc/guitar.
9. Guitar & soaring vox open. Gets into an upbeat blend of sounds.
10. Perc & claps gallop like a camel – great vocals jump in. Upbeat.
