Misery Index – Discordia (Relapse)
One of the best techie grindcore bands going. Songs are ridiculously heavy, political, and go through many changes. You can almost understand the vocals and the drumming will blow your mind. Former members of Dying Fetus but feels like the next incarnation of Brutal Truth. There are touches of death metal which for some reason remind me of Terrorizer
**1. Starts with some static, and then kicks into an amazing grindcore riff that will have you headbanging in no time.
**2. Shorter and catchy with a great breakdown. This reminds me more of tracks on their last album.
3. Even shorter yet and more complex.
4. More of a pummeling sound. Medium paced and heavy. Melodic guitar during the breakdown. Honestly this has a bunch of sounds that remind me of some 80s thrash.
**5. I like that they attempt some unique quitar sounds along with normal grindcore tracks.
**6. Slow, metal beginning. Metallica on crack after that. Lots of different sounds and parts to this track.
7. Medium paced pummeling sound. Odd pacing and a handful of pinch harmonics on guitar.
8. Some heavy melodic seconds mixed in with the grind.
**9. The title track is surprisingly slow but is discordant to go with the title. Not unlike the slow track on their last EP.
10. Never gets very fast.
