Noisey experimental with enough academic avante’ness to elevate it above your average extreme noisester. In fact, this project involves a handful of notorious composers, many from Mills College (e.g. Liz Albee) and in fact used their incredible old Moog set up. A few twisted “songs” worthy of an Acidsoxx compilation. All songs blend together but are trackwritten well. For fans of Wendy Carlos, Culturcide, Toychestra, Prozac, and huffing spray paint.
1) sick child-like twisted melody, ends with near animal sounds
2) swirling lush echoey layers, spacey noisey
3) noisy Moog, beautiful old school Moog used for extreme strangeness
4) creepy and noisey, plodding monsterlike at end
5) strange childlike rhumba, with pitched changed singing, severely twisted
6) quiet blipping, clangs
7) build up to tasteful noise bursts then textured drones
8) Moog flavored blippiness, electronic noise reminiscent of Culturcide interludes
9) marching feel, almost aquatic, chills toward ends
10) serious square wave (sawtooth?) frequency modulation on the beautiful old Moog, then a drone appears and piece turns into serious tape loop madness
11) creaky and strange, layered madness feel builds heavily to end
12) chill, sparse, avante, gets heavier midway
13) creepy sparseness with bursts, ebbing flowing
