Cataract – Kingdom (Metal Blade)
Straight forward metalcore. More of a hardcore sound than a metal sound. Huge breakdowns, heavy guitars, vocals you can understand and a big SLAYER influence. From Switzerland. Not a lot different between tracks or from their last album. Headbanging thrash fun. Better than the new SLAYER album.
2. Vocals are a bit odd and too easy to understand and the SLAYER influence too obvious. Vaguely anti-war.
**3. Huge gallop that sounds like SLAYER dead on. Relatively slow.
4. Is this still track 3?
**5. Oh come on, this is a complete SLAYER rip off. Oh yeah, good sounding SLAYER.
**6. Faster.
7. Busier and more of a PANTERA guitar riff.
8. Cheap production effects.
10. Slower intro and song. Huge sound, great production with every instrument very clear.
11. Faster and more SLAYER
