Baltimore-based group offers up spindly, slow progression guitar driven rock with sparse lyrics involving themes of discontent. The singer's vocals and delivery are stop-and-start, primal and declarative, yet simultaneously indifferent and pensive. The lyrics are almost always muffled and barely intelligible but it helps cast the cryptic darkness here. The vocal style, however, makes songs run together and sometimes really takes away from the guitar and drum work here--which are guilty of being a little tedious themselves. Try tracks #2 and #3. FCC clean.

1. Slow, murky, takes a little too long to build up
**2. Tribal like but understated drums, faster and sharper.
*3. Chiming sounding, pretty refrain
4. Vocals come in earlier and seem more grating here
5. Cool layered guitars into a sort of militancy
6. Cool intro but gets really tedious.
7. Brief, glittery.
8. Vocables of "hallelujah" over a guitar and organ lead into this epic
9. Opens w/piercing effect into a hopeful mood.
