Dark, loud, fucked up garage/blues/punk rock damage. With titles like “Pedophillia” and dittys about Liberian dictator Charles Taylor, you know this ain’t "good times” music. Sioux City Pete’s voice is like Jello Biafra crossed with Bon Scott in it’s attack but with a singular focus. Dig this if you like Pussy Galore, Big Black, Gun Club and other warped stuff. |
(((1))) Strange gospel (?) sample into a muck of slow, thundering loud blues. (FCC “fucking” sung once)
((((2)))) Fast, twisted “repenting“-styled, punkified blues romp.
((((3)))) Twangy and battering, swaggering and mean. All about L.A.’s dark side.
((((4)))) TOO MANY FCCs! AVOID!
(((5))) Samples of little kids singing, then slide heavy acoustic blues. Simple but really cool guitar sound.
(((6))) TOO MANY FCCS! AVOID!
((((7)))) Sharp tuned with nice chugging rhythm. Pretty close to Big Black with the wicked lyrics sung in first person. Creepy as you could ever imagine
(((8))) Hammering, simple & gut bucket loud-ass garage blues.
(((9))) Traditional blues track by way of the collision of distorted and often wailing vocals.
(((10))) Tape loop saying “Helter Skelter” and twangy, broken-down fuzzed out electric swamp punk.
((((11)))) Starts with violin and disjointed beats (sorta Middle Eastern) then super-distorted & volumous guitars and punked out out vocals. More bands should write about African dictators.
((((12)))) (FCC “shit” said at end of song) Pretty fast & raucous, nasty punkish spitfire of a song.
(((13))) Sample of some random girl in both channels. A pretty swing beat, some rockin’ riffs and minimal lyrics.
