See the title of this CD? That’s exactly what it is. Pop from Venezuela. A tastily odd mix of keyboards, drums, bass, guitar, vox. There’s distinct flavor of cheesy goodness but in a good, quirky, fun, tongue-in-cheek way. Delicious funk & lounge grooves as well. I really did like it all, especially ….
1. .09 intro, can lead right into 2.
2. Cheesy midtempo retro beauty pagent pop. Odd, good odd.
3. A capella intro. Bouncy high-life-y pop w/a happy sound.
4. Light funk w/some hip programming, cool perc & crazy subtle vox.
5. Cool mid lounge groove meets sweet pop with some pet funk.
7. Hip retro electro bossa groove. So cool….
8. Midtempo disco chill.
10. A fun, fast, sexy dance.
13. Bright, bubbly pop with a silly-happy la-la-la & odd sounds.
14. Mid/uptempo rock/funk blend.
16. Like “Sabado Noche Fever.” Cool Latin disco chill
17. Lots of horns, keyboards, perc. Nicely funky groove.
