Improvisations based on Persian & Turkish music. The kamancheh I
( Persian bowed lute played like a cello ) played by Kayhan Kalhor and the Turkish baglama (seven strings in 3 groups with a long fingerboard) finger picked by Erdal Erzincan. Accompanied by Ulas Ozdemir on divan baglama. (really large baglama) All tracks are slow and very meditative while being a very moving sound. Excellent arrangements and musicianship. Any track is good but you could easily play the entire cd and enjoy a pleasant and unique sound.
