The Bawd Of Euphony

I love this fucking band. Their self-titled debut in 05 was a brilliant mix of freaky folk, American experimentalism and beautiful song structuring. Their split CD with Angels of light later the same year took them to Mach 3, heavy guitar riffage and songs on epic scales, recalling Beatles greatness. This record is another mini lp representing sessions they recorded with Chicago free-jazz drummer master Hamid Drake in between various shows in that region of the country. Songs range from twangy folk drones to full-on free jazz explosions. Highly highly recommend- tHE bAWD oF euphony
