Modern classical, string quartet - a blend of minimalism, 20th century grating dissonance, jazz and blues. Some of these tracks simply jam. Sometimes the music falls flat when straight rhythms get repeated into the ground, but well-worth a listen and playing. 3 multi-movement pieces.

1. Uptempo, rhythmic, rocking. Lots of glissandi.
2. Slow, peaceful with nice dissonance.
3. Starts with funky cello solo, plucky viola, pretty downtempo, violins join with random plucking, some bowing.
4. Similar to 2. A little less movement.
*5. Starts soft and rhythmic, fun syncopation throughout. Beautiful cello. A few frenetic parts. The most diverse track so far. Gorgeous.
6. Slow and high-screechy. Eastern-sounding.
*7. Beautifully repetitive. At times savage.
8. Slow build, strange dissonance. Simple.
9. Slow and bluesy.
*10. Overlapping strong rhythmic patterns.
11. Exuberantly repetitive violins start – fast bowing. Cool woosy fiddling.
*12. Slowly moving dissonance. Great harmonies.
*13. Good representation of all the sounds on this disc – quick repetitive, rhythmic bowing, driving cello, jazzy sliding violins. Great slow section in the middle.
