The Kamikaze Hearts: Oneida Road; Label:
Folksy indie pop. Guitar strumming, banjo, mandolin. Alt-country/folk vocals w/ drawl. Tempos range from slow plodding to sprightly strumming. Some slide-guitar and piano. at times pensive, other times cheery. Pedantic, personal, intimate lyrics. Warm tone, with some moments of sweetness.
FCC #7(?). play #8, 4, 1, 9.
1) 3:01 –pretty banjo/guitar picking.
2) 3:38 –old-folksy singing. Shaker percussion. Mandolin strumming. 0:57 dies down and then starts again.
3) 2:14 –pop-rock. Upbeat.
4) 3:53 –cool mandolin part. Quick tempo.
5) 3:07 –starts with pensive, singer/songwriter w/guitar stuff. Alt-country.
6) 2:16 –alt-country. banjo, slide guitar.
7) 3:15 –pop-folk. Gets quiet after 0:50, then revives.
8) 4:51 –slow folk/pop. Sparse, reverb heavy guitar. Piano.
9) 9:51 –strumming mandolin, country vocals, slow. Atmospheric mandolin strumming at end. Last 50 seconds slow bass, strumming.
